Many programs and learning institutes promise you will learn a language with them in six months, but these are just false promises. It takes years of top-notch education to reach the native speaker level. That is why we will be realistic in our forecasts. In six months of active learning, you can achieve a result you will be very satisfied with. You will learn to understand the basics, you will learn to use words and phrases that are most often used, and you will be able to travel to a foreign country without a guide or a translator.

Not in the beginning, but as soon as you progress a little, some parts of grammar are unavoidable.

It depends on your goal and your personality. E.g. some people prefer group classes because they can practice conversation with other students who are at the same level as them, while other students want more speaking time, and the class to be tailored exclusively to their needs.
